"a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages"
Welcome! Come just as you are!
On Sunday mornings the City of Refuge gathers to worship the Lord Jesus Christ!
Dress in a way that you feel comfortable, whether that’s casual or fancy or native to your home culture. We mix it up. Casual usually outnumbers the other options.
Look. Don’t miss us. Our dark green corrugated tin building at 3150 Yellowstone on the corner of Ardmore may not look like a church to you at first. The entrance faces Ardmore.
Parking for visitors is reserved in the lot adjacent to the building. More spaces are available in the lot directly across Yellowstone.
Worship. We celebrate in Word, prayer, song, giving, and Holy Communion. Our diverse family becomes a living representation of the crowd described in Revelation 7. “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” Our worship reflects our multi-cultural, multi-generational congregation by including different cultures and singing in other languages. (If you are a guest, we will not have you stand up, or ask you to give money.) Our preaching illuminates the Bible. Sunday morning services provide a beautiful mosaic of the over-arching culture of worship that pervades all our ministries.
